Notice of Open Drainage Contract Let in Iowa
The Boards of Supervisors of Winnebago and Kossuth Counties Iowa will meet in Joint Session at the Forest City Court House on August 11 1914 to let the open ditch and tile drainage contract for Joint Drainage Districts No 35 in Winnebago and No 4 in Kossuth. Bids must be in writing per 100 feet and accompanied by 10 percent bid bond. work to begin by September 2 1914 for open ditch and October 1 1914 for tile drains, complete by January 1 1916. bids reviewed by county auditors with right to reject all bids. Sixteen inch and other tile sizes listed with sections and lengths. cement tile clay tile and headwalls specified. deposits returned to unsuccessful bidders after 24 hours. awarded party must sign contract within 14 days and provide 25 percent bond. Sealed bids at Winnebago County auditor’s office due by 11 am August 11 1914.
