Frank Clark 76 editor and publisher of The Titonka Topic for 16 years died suddenly at his Titonka office Tuesday about 4 pm. A heart condition caused death after recent hospitalizations. Funeral Friday at Titonka Methodist Church with burial in Riverview, Algona. Survived by two sons H V Clark Bancroft and W C Clark New Rochelle. sister Mrs Lou Ella Brook York Neb. Born February 25 1879 near Parkersburg Iowa.

Wesley Fox returned from Mercy hospital in Mason City after ten days of treatment. On July 2 neighbors cut 20 acres of hay at the Fox farm using two balers and five racks. Mrs Mary Uhlenhake aged about 63 died Wednesday evening at her son Johns Whittemore home while visiting. Born in Germany May 14 1872 she came to Iowa as a child and lived many years in Wesley. Surviving are four daughters a son 23 grandchildren and 61 great grandchildren a sister and two brothers. Funeral Mass held at St Josephs Church with Rev L N Klein in charge burial in St Josephs cemetery.
