Sunday afternoon visitors at the Nelson Brothers home honored Mrs Mamie Speicher with a gathering including Henry Hoffbauer Rex Austin and families from nearby towns. Evening callers came and Sunday visits continued at Alfred Redenius and Crystal Lake picnickers with multiple area residents. A Fourth of July neighborhood picnic at Lester Blain’s featured wagon rides by two burros and an afternoon of visiting games and sports.
