Coons Move From Tree Nest Near Clark Orton Farm
In spring a large coon occupied a hollow limb over the public highway on the Clark Orton farm near Ambrose Call State Park. The den, close to the house, produced six month old kits that descended to the front yard where Donald Orton briefly kept one. A second den lies about 300 feet away with coons passing by yearly.
