The Board of Directors of the Air Association sponsors plans a large July 4 celebration at Algona Fair Grounds with six running races likely drawing 40 to 50 top state contenders and a Forest City versus Algona baseball game. Vaudeville acts include The Gold Dust Trio, Six Lucky Boys, magician Hoffman, Big Burma elephant act, and Miss Huntley. Fireworks, a Night Mare 13 aerial show, and a Chicago-bound fireworks crew are featured. Motorcycle races July 5 under A M R O rules, plus a county Junior League baseball game and an evening fireworks display and dancing each night.

Hyerett Post plans a new barn this fall on the site of the old one that was blown down in a recent storm. The new structure will measure 34 by 56 feet and feature a hip roof. Survived by husband and children Carl Herbert Fred Margaret Weaver Bertha Simmons Lostta. two brothers Boye Dieckman Foxhome and Henry Dickman Ladysmith. Born January 17 1875 aged 62. Funeral Friday at home at one o'clock and at Methodist church in Waden at 1 30.

Arthur Rike and sister Viola return from the International Luther League Convention in Minneapolis where fifteen thousand youths gathered Wednesday through Sunday. The theme Christ Our Life guided talks, reports, music, and social events, with a grand sacred concert featuring three thousand choir voices directed by F Melius Christiansen. Viola Rike sang in the choir as interviews and music broadcasts aired across Twin Cities radio stations.

In Della Western court the following cases were disposed of in one week. C. W. Shanbarger ofDodger ville Wis paid a fine of $1 and costs of $2 265 for not heeding a stop sign. Al Guerdet of Armatrang got $10 fine and $2.25 costs for driving without a license. Edmund Bell of Wast Bend drew a fine of $6 and costs for reckless driving. Sam He cer of Dag Monica did not heed a stop sign and was fined $2 and costs. Vincent Angler of Sioux Falls SD was fined $6 and costs for speeding with a truck. Hy Pomeroy of Buffalo Center was fined $1 and costs for failing to regard a stop sign. W A Gibson of Maxwell was found guilty of the same charge and got the same lesson. Ira Hudson of the C C C camp at Banaport was operating a car without a muffler and paid a fine of $1 and costs. Jacob H Gadden of Burtwag fined $1 and costs for running a trailer without a proper license and stone Weht. G F Bannart of Algona failed to stop at a stop sign and got the usual $1 and $9.85, Wm OC Franks of Fairfax was up on the same charge and got the same lesson. Auto Accident Near Swea City Hospitalized Injured
