Bartlett Brothers will start a new 40 by 80 foot cement block turkey hatchery within ten days. Three Robins Special incubators with 14,274 eggs each will operate to produce about 5,000 poults weekly at a 60 percent hatch. Don Aukes will train at Purina Gray Summit Missouri. power from Interstate Power Co with an auxiliary plant. The firm will continue turkey farming west of Titonka, after 1949 production of 140 turkeys and small yearly numbers.

Kossuth County 4-H clubs and Rural Youngs People organizations will continue in the International Farm Youth Exchange in 1950. The couple married December 31 1924 at the Methodist parsonage, began farming nearby, and have five children Florence Wilbur Verna Dell Patricia and Kathleen One son Clifford drowned years ago The event included games vows reenactment a cake cutting and gifts from relatives and friends including Holmes Edwards silver set and a nutcracker tray.
