Brief History of Mrs Anna Tjarks
Mrs Anna Tjarks born July 27 1866 in Mrothusen Germany died December 24 after pneumonia and heart trouble at age 79. She married Herman Tjarks February 18 1878 and had nine children, seven surviving with grandchildren and great grandchildren. Funeral held at Titanica Lutheran Church with interment in Lutheran Cemetery. sister Mrs Molter attended from Daey River Minnesota tainted by heavy snows.

Deserted Husband Held on Desertion Charge in District Court
W. H. Reimers of Burt faced a desertion charge after appearing before Justice P. A. Dawson last Wednesday. He is bound over to the January term of the District Court under $1,000 bond. Claud White of Algona received a six day county jail sentence for being drunk and striking his wife.

Father and son jailed in double farm robbery case
