Mary McDermott died December 26 at Mercy Hospital Des Moines from goiter and complications. Born in Ottawa Canada in 1863 she lived in Algona Eagle Grove Titonka Bancroft and Des Moines. She is survived by siblings and her husband named Cosgrove. Funeral held December 28 1928 at 9 00 with burial in the family lot east of town.
