Methodist World Service Through Tithing
A Methodist church talk by Maxine Tryon on December Sunday evening urges systematic weekly giving to World Service. The message details how funds support missions boards, education, temperance, lay activities, Bible Society, evangelism, hospitals, and world peace, urging donors to give proportionally. It notes postwar needs in Europe and asserts World Service as core to Methodism, ending with the blessing of giving.
