Henry worked as a carpenter plasterer and painter, charging 55 cents an hour, while Roe Johnny Isebrand earned 50 cents. A drawer tool for chipping ice sparks memories of past workers and curious objects in the store. Henry once told a tale of his mother claiming she was older than him.
