The Woden P.T.A. met in the Legion Hall on Tuesday evening February 11 with the vice president presiding in the president’s absence. Minutes were read and approved. Ed Limberg and John Brunson were nominated for the school board election next month. Community singing by Mr. Bundy and Virginia reel dancing by grades five and six accompanied a candle-light service for the P.T.A. birthday. A nominating committee of Mrs. Ed Hulme Mrs. John Brunson and Mrs. Clinton Larson was appointed for next year’s officers.
The Bingham Champions held on Jan 22 at the Legion Hall marked Dad’s Night with 20 members, 2 leaders, 12 dads and 2 mothers attending. After roll call and a talk on Feeding and Care of Baby Reeves, an oyster stew was served.

Mr. and Mrs. Oscar Hammond of Wesley were visiting at the home of his sister Mrs. William Wood ang family last Monday afternoon. Mr. and Mrs Henry Bode spent Sunday at the home of her father Ww A Dean at Traer, and also visited their son James at Ames.
Mr and Mrs John Beye returned home after a two week Southern states vacation. Dinner guests at Ted Gerdes home in Clear Lake included Dale Rittenhouse and Ernest Giesking with others Bernard Ludeking of Mason City and Robert Jensen of Dougherty. William Wood and family visited Hollis Beadle and John Schuler in Swea City last Saturday.
