Cost Sharing Conservation Offers to Farmers in 1957
The Kossuth County ASC manager says ACP cost sharing is available for acreage reserve and other land needing conservation work this year. Conservation Reserve land gains higher rates for seeding pond building and tree planting, with regular ACP rates for additional practices. Early filings receive prompt consideration. 1956 ACP paid $62,320.04 on 453 farms. County 1957 funds total $103,200 with potential state requests if balances remain. Complete practice and rate details are at the county ASC office.
