County Legion Meet Set for Titonia Coliseum Tuesday
A joint meeting of all Kossuth County Legion Posts and auxiliaries is planned for Tuesday evening February 11 at the Titonia Coliseum. Registration runs 7 to 8 pm with WelCome by Rev L G Gartner and remarks by H A French and Ray Murray. The program includes music, brief business sessions, dancing and a lunch, promising a good time for all members.

Fire Scare at Mrs R L Amoreux Residence Roof Fire
A chimney fire at the Mrs R L Amoreux home burned out last Sunday around ten in the morning. The blaze started on the south side of the roof and prompted a fire scare in the neighborhood. Raymond.
Bonacker reports fire. fire quickly extinguished
Bonacker discovered the blaze and sounded the alarm. Raymond carried his chemical apparatus as the fire department arrived promptly and contained the flames within minutes. A small hole burned in the root.

Town Council Minutes February 3 1930
The regular monthly meeting of the town council was held at the Thonka Savings Bank at eight o'clock P M. Present were Mayor Wolfe and Councilmen French Sartor Rachut and Callies. Bills for payment were approved and warrants issued. Funds transfer requested for the library from funeral to special library fund. A committee to study the dance hall ordinance was appointed with report due by February 17 1930. Meeting adjourned.
