Assessors Urge Public Cooperation Under New County Law

Titonka Indians Lose Narrowly To Algona Bulldogs

Titonka suffered a 1 point defeat to Algona in a county tourney game. Vaughn hit the winning shot in the final seconds as Algona came from behind. Titonka led most of the game, then faded in the final period and misfired on several set ups. Bruns and Downs led Titonka with 15 and 12 points, Ross paced Algona with 14.

Titonka high school split two games last week with the girls 36-24 loss and the boys 42-30 win. Hagen led Titonka with 20 points while Kluver paced Crystal Lake with 25, and the teams exchanged rough play and late rallies in a pair of tight contests.
