Supreme Court Reverses Des Moines County Case
The Iowa Supreme Court reversed Judge Scluh in Des Moines county in the state v David Roscum indicted for nuious mischief. The court found prosecutors erred by admitting evidence of prior crimes and improper cross examination. A separate offense evidence ruling injured the defendant’s case and the reversal stresses the prohibition on introducing crimes unrelated to the charged offense.
