Improvements on Homes and Grounds in Kossuth County
Miss Margherita Tarr state extension landscape specialist led four landscape meetings in Kossuth County advising rural residents to prepare a paper plan of current conditions as a basis for future development. Plan shading, framing views of the house, and simple front lawns with plants of reliable growth were emphasized. Attendees listed include numerous residents from Plum Creek Ledyard Whittemore and Seneca townships and the Gutknecht and Gerber homes.

Goldie Summers of Alton sought a legal separation two years after a two day marriage ended when her husband allegedly pushed her from a car during a honeymoon trip. She filed for a petition to annul the marriage.

Henry Snyder twenty one of Breda may not be the state’s luckiest man but he will fill in until a luckier arrives. After returning from a wedding he drove through a guard rail on an overhead bridge and plunged ninety feet onto the Great Western tracks. He crawled free before a passenger train arrived and wrecked his car, scattering debris for a hundred feet along the right of way.
