Support for wool pulled by lamb payments program
Support for pulled wool comes via payments on lambs never shorn. Payments are per hundredweight of live animals to offset wool, aligned with the national average incentive per pound of shorn wool. Current wool and lamb marketings from April 1 to December 31 1963 may qualify for 1963 marketing year payments, with payments issued in April 1964.
