Drainage District No 20 bond plan outlined at Iowa county meeting
The 1911 Kosuth County Iowa Board of Supervisors discussed extending installments of land assessments in Drainage District No 20 and issuing bonds to cover costs. They authorized seven annual installments beginning January 1912 with bonds totaling 48 600 dollars bearing 5.5 percent interest, secured by district assessments and payable at a Davenport bank. Newel chaired the session with several supervisors present and payments to be recorded.
