High school and junior groups plan PTA Christmas program for December 21. Elementary songs directed by Mrs H W Kitzinger, high school mixed chorus performs The Christmas Story with junior band, local clergyman reads, finale by mixed chorus with Sandra Gartner at piano. Program details to be printed next week.
The library notes the loss of a valued staff member Phyllis Diamond due to a schedule change. Judy Weir has taken over Phyllis's duties, and the community thanks both for their time and volunteer effort. Kathy Willis designed the gratitude themed bulletin boards, with each student librarian decorating one display.
The school adds Clarence S. Jackson's Pageant of the Pioneers a pictorial album of over 100 color and print reproductions by William H. Jackson the “Picture Maker of the Old West.” Privately published by Hardy Warp of Pioneer Village Minden Nebraska Warp donated 10 000 copies to U S libraries for education.

Alumni banquet was held on November 27 in the Titonka gym decorated with a circus theme. Supper served by band mothers for 322 people. Craig Sathoff MC’d a lively program followed by a public dance with the Bobby Griegs Band. lunch was served during the dance.

Cast members arrived for their big night as the Junior Class presented Finders Creepers. Misplaced makeup and a missing wig sparked chaos before Mr. Sullivan rescued the wig. Gary hunted pajamas while Mo lent his own. After the performance everyone relaxed and had fun.
