County Board approves county treasurer bond amid adjourned meeting
The county board met in Algona Iowa on December 1 1903 to approve the county treasurer bond of 9000 for two years with bonds from Baltimore firms The board also opened bids from American Bonding Co Fidelity and Deposit Co and U S Fidelity and Guaranty Co and authorized a preferred arrangement with U S Fidelity and Guaranty Co of Baltimore Md for the bond. The meeting adjourned at 1 00 p m after approving bills and mileage for several county officials.
