Local settlers discuss land sale and wages in unclear notes
A fragmented letter from JNO MBRICLE mentions land values per acre, long-distance travel to Boise, and a contest with large prizes. It notes teachers in Kossuth county and potential job opportunities at $60 while other lines speculate on land worth and turnout. The sense is a mixed, unfinished plea about land, wages, and migration.
