Three lamps are to be awarded for best decorated homes in Titonka this Christmas. Interstate Power Co donated the prizes and G G Young of Winnebago delivered them. The Titonka Lion Club sponsors the contest for the third year. no entry is needed, judges will view all eligible homes between now and January. In Algona Judge G W Stillman sentenced John J Uelmers to three months in county jail for operating a motor vehicle while intoxicated, with two months suspended on good behavior due to diabetes. Helmers paroled to Sheriff Cogley after an appeal bond set at 1000 dollars. George B Ludwig of St Benedict pleaded guilty to driving while intoxicated and was fined 200 dollars plus 10.85 costs, with 200 dollars and costs suspended on good behavior.
