Thanksgiving Week Social and Family Visits Across Towns
Local families and friends gathered for Thanksgiving events and visits. Notable movements include Johnny Rudisill leaving for Farragut Idaho for navy training after a furlough with his parents. Numerous gatherings at homes of Tjaden, Rudisill, and Rittenhouse families featured guests from Altoona Britt Wesley Elbow, and Des Moines, with travel from Mason City and Clear Lake. A mix of dinners, bridge club scores, and holiday departures marked the period.
