Sexton Man Injured In Collision Near Here
William Hedrick Sr. suffered head injuries and severe shock when his car rear ended by a salesman’s vehicle. Hedrick was driving home from Algona west of town, his trailer hitched to the car. The salesman said he was blinded by headlights and could not avoid the collision. A passerby took Hedrick to Kossuth hospital where he is reported recovering.

George Hulme of Woden Dies at 69
George Hulme 69 of a northeast of town died Sunday morning at home after a stroke last Thursday. He had prior illness and was partly paralyzed after a similar stroke two years ago. Survived by wife, daughter Mrs George Andrews of Buffalo Center, sons Howard north of Woden and Thomas of Miller. Funeral at Methodist church Wednesday at 1 PM after a short home service. Burial in Bingham township cemetery.

Thumb Amputation From Grinding Ax End
