Special Shoe Stamps Available If Needed
War Price and Rationing Board chair Wen dell French explains special shoe stamps may be issued when family shoe stamps are exhausted. Airplane stamps 1 and 2 in ration book 3 remain valid, with no new stamps likely before November 1. Gym shoes are not rationed but canvas uppers with rubber soles are.
