Local notes recount family visits and a toddler burn incident
The record details a busy week of neighborhood visits from the Dell Turner and Hadler families in Amesbury Burt and neighboring towns. A toddler named Elmer suffered a serious mouth burn from a kettle but recovered, while numerous residents joined gatherings, dances, and meals at various homes. The item closes with an odd advertisement for homestead land sale and land laws.
