The Indian Day Celebration comes next week Tuesday to Thursday August 10 to 12 in Titonka with seven rides and 20 concessions. A Ferris wheel merry go round and dodgem are listed with other rides promised for all ages. Baseball games on Wednesday and Thursday start at 2 30 pm featuring Titanica West Bend Junior Legion Bancroft Lions and Kossuth League teams. Concerts by the Titonka band under Russell Castor and free acts, Harold’s Roller Rink carnival skate Tuesday night and a Thursday dance with Mark’s orchestra are planned along with Tyke Theatre shows all day Wednesday and Thursday.

Mental health chair Leona Schutter reported a federally funded unit with about 68700 for the year and plans for three day institutes for practitioners plus community clinics and first aid booklets. Lunch followed and August hosts will be Mary and Wanda Young.
