Slaba Rites Mark Life Of Buffalo Center Resident
Mrs. M. L. Slaba of Buffalo Center died Saturday July 21 after years of diabetes. Born 1868 in Hardin County Ohio she moved to Kossuth County at 15 and to Buffalo Center in 1893. Funeral services were held at the Reformed church with Rev. Alec Russell in charge and a large turnout from Algona and surrounding communities. She leaves a husband and five children with many relatives mourning her loss.
