Two Injured in Wreck North of Bancroft Wyoming Minnesota
Two people were hospitalized Sunday after a head on collision four miles north of Bancroft on highway 169. Gillert, a passenger in the Hol Plotter car from Himore Minnesota, suffered a brain concussion. Loula Brants and four children in the Braatz car sustained scalp wounds and minor injuries. Mrs Plotter reportedly lost control while returning to the pavement from the shoulder.

North of Woden Resident Dies at Forest Hospital
Nalss O Holland, a Linden township resident north of Woden, died at Forest Hospital Wednesday morning from poisoning after his leg was amputated Monday to save his life. Funeral services were held Friday at the Free Lutheran church in Linden township with burial in Linden Lutheran cemetery.

Kruse, Former County Treasurer, Passes at 63
H N Kruse, 84, longtime Algona business man and former Swea City official, died after surgery at a Fort Dodge hospital. He moved to Swea City as a youth, lived there until 1908, spent eight years in Tacoma, then returned. He served three terms as Kossuth County treasurer starting in 1922 and had worked in insurance since 1934.

Sixth Annual Field Day set for September 29
The Kogr outh County Conservation League sponsors the sixth annual Field Day to be held seven miles northeast of Algona in Plum Creek township on Sunday September 29. Art Prisbe Lone Rock is general chairman with William C Day Algona as assistant chairman.
