Pioneer Ramsey resident Norman Collar remembered
Funeral services were held in the hall followed by interment at Croft Cemetery beside the Fir Lodge to which he belonged. A pioneer from Kossuth, Collar settled in Ramsey after moving from Illinois 42 years ago. Known for a sod house, Collar’s Sod Tavern, and as a kind, generous, and helpful neighbor, his passing brings regret to friends and community.
