Buffalo Consolidated Student Competes In County Spelling Contest
Maxine Stott, twelve, of Buffalo Consolidated School, took part in the Kossuth County Spelling contest in Algona on a Wednesday afternoon in April. Accompanied by Mrs. Oesterreicher Doris Stott and Mr. Hoon, she completed twelve rounds before being the thirty seventh eliminated in a field of fifty. The written and oral test was judged by three officials led by Mr. Eaton of Omaha.
