National Elevator Destroyed by Fire in Two Hours
A fire at National Elevator started before seven on Monday evening and within two hours reduced the building to ashes. J C Pickrem alerted staff, flames trapped inside as doors opened, hindering extinguishment. No wind aided containment. oil shed and main building burned, engine house lightly damaged. Cause undetermined though hot box or spontaneous combustion suspected. grain inside reportedly 50 to 60 bushels. Estimated damage about 9000 dollars, likely insured. no officials have visited the scene. The fate of reconstruction is unknown.

New Train Service Reduces Schedule to Three Weekly Runs
The newly implemented service cuts ice traffic to three trains weekly from Winnipeg on Tuesdays Thursdays Saturdays and from Prince Albert on Mondays Wednesdays Fridays. A mixed train will run between Mistauim and Prince Albert with arrivals at Tisdale Mondays Wednesdays Fridays and from Rae as Ass on Tuesdays Saturdays. Mr R B Cowan of the Merchants Bank Lumber Yard in Mistauim visited Tisdale midweek. A Ten Cent Tea at Mrs G J Lacroix’s home on December 9 from 3 to 6 pm raises funds for the Roman Catholic Church.
