Dwar M. Perry Dies At Camp Strong At Seventeen
Dwar M Perry of Company C 24th Regiment died at Camp Strong near Muscatine on the 17th inst from bowel inflammation. Aged seventeen, his father resides in Crawford County Ohio. He was praised as a dutiful son and good soldier with the respect of his comrades. A large crowd attended his funeral at the MOR church on Sunday. The sermon was preached by N Bellows from Psalms 90:12.
