Brave Willie Ellis Saves Eddie Wheeler at River

Act to Protect Birds From Destruction in Iowa

An act by the General Assembly prohibits destroying any birds of this state except birds of prey and those listed as useful for food or pest control. Killing birds for science or preservation is exempt with proof. Offenders face misdemeanor charges and fines up to twenty five dollars plus costs.
