Springdale Fair Promises New Market for Personal Property
In Springdale on February 26 1866 citizens organized the Springdale Fair to improve the sale of personal property such as stock farming equipment and household goods. A board of managers will govern the fair with monthly sales on the last Friday, largely by auction and open to all. Proceeds fund fair expenses, and notices of sale must be given ten days prior.
