Tipton District Board Grants Bridge Funds and Raises Clerk Pay
Cedar county board in June 1867 acts on petitions for bridges over Coon Creek Yankee Run Sugar Creek and other sites. It raises bailiffs pay to two dollars daily, increases the clerk of the district court salary to two thousand dollars a year, and assigns committees to inspect embankments and establish road and bridge projects.
