Bread Stove Trials Stir Up Troy Store Exhibit
Barvelous feats in bread baking describe Tre Stewart stove trials at Wanna Kaswhert store in Troy New York. Bakers used a 30 inch square oven and Gre proof cement lining to bake dozens of loaves with minimal fuel. A similar test at another home baked 300 pounds of bread with only the same stove, while a third run at Frirre Wengen Co produced 35 loaves weighing two pounds each using a single small wood stick to start the fire. A notice promises repeat demonstrations at Fuller Warren Co Troy when flour is supplied and bread is distributed for the poor. Smith Brothers Tipton sells the celebrated tower.
