Bremen District 228 votes to relocate TMH students to Oak Forest high school facilities next fall. About 30 students aged 15 to 21 will use a newly designated Special Education suite with classrooms a home arts room a therapy room and a large group instruction area. The present site near 183rd Street and Central suffers chronic septic problems and flooding.

Whitaker alleges police officer threatened life at Westhaven meeting
Westhaven Mayor Curtis Whitaker charged a village policeman made a threat against him during a board session. Trustee Carl Cicero confirmed the officer was John Caldrone and said Caldrone warned of consequences if the mayor pressed the issue on radio communications. A hearing was planned, no date set, and Caldrone pledged to take a lie detector test if Whitaker and Cicero print a retraction.
