Tinley Park to Get New Post Office on 171st Street Site
The United States Postal Service announced on Friday the purchase of a five acre site on the northwest corner of 171st Street and Harlem Avenue for a new Tinley Park post office. The land cost 452640 dollars and construction will follow design work and bidding, with an estimated 18 months to completion. Plans replace the old post office at 6730 West 175th Street with a larger facility, exact size to be determined.
