Sinkhorn Is Elected In Dist. 228
Clarence Sinkhorn, a 41 year old retired Air Force master sergeant from Midlothian, won a seat on the High School District 228 board with 278 votes to 146 for Leland Grove. A total of 428 votes were cast in the special election called by Richard Martwick. Grove led in Oak Forest and Tinley Park while Sinkhorn carried Bremen and Hillcrest.
