District 146 Referendum on $352000 Bond Vote
Voters in Tinley Park Orland Park and Oak Forest will decide a $352000 bond referendum to fund part of a $1.2 million Central Junior High renovation. Balloting runs noon to 7 pm Saturday with polling sites in Tinley Park Orland Park and Oak Forest.

Snow cleanup costs hit Tinley Park at 1400 dollars
Tinley Park officials report seven inches of snow last week cost over 1400 dollars for overtime 885.99 and 460 gasoline. Residents along Oak Park avenue complained sidewalks were impassable triggering talk of letters to businesses urging shoveling and license compliance. No snow ordinance exists though debris in the right of way is prohibited. Powers notes a five inch snowfall would run about 1000 dollars.
