Nehalem Bay plank road and dock plans face locals
About 50 000 feet of lumber will be used to build a plank road across the Nehalem sand spit from Crown's Dock to the ocean beach with resort owners volunteering labor. A large floating dock is proposed in the bay to serve launches, while dredging and harbor improvements are discussed to ease low tides and railroad connections.
