Friday and Sunday schedule announced for morning Sunday School at Wi AL MS Morning and a 7 PM topic Heroes and Heroines of the Temperance Crusade led by Mrs A J Thomas. Evening sermon at 5 PM followed by Young People Meeting at 6 PM. Public invited.
Bible School at 10 a.m. with classes for all. If not attending elsewhere we extend an cordial invitation. Preaching at 11 a.m. by L. R. Hawkins of Portland. At 7 p.m. Your "College's Meeting" and regular evening service. Second sermon in series on Unity titled The Bible and its Relation to Christian Unity. Come Thou with us and we will do thee good. R. No morning service next Sunday. Praise and preaching at 5 pm. Sermon theme The Unity Which Jesus taught Oneness of Faith Love and Action. During year ending March 31 1913 the church received 3505 members by confession 61346 by certificates and contributed 1294000 Home Missions and 1530000 Foreign Missions. A Presbyterian Church has been organized at Rockaway Beach led by D A Mackenzie B D Pastor.
Mrs Alice Thayer Clark of Portland spoke beautifully last Sabbath and architect Mr Turtlelotte from Portland joined the committee to review plans. Dr Moore from Salem will meet the fourth Quarterly Conference next Saturday at 2 PM. Sunday School at 10 AM with capable teachers. Dr Moore to preach at ILDA M.
Hiram Marble longtime city resident died at home from bronchitis and related complications. A Masonic Lodge member for about ten years he received funeral services at the Metodist Church with Rev Kuhlman and Masons at the grave. Marble born in Stevenson County JPots in the seat IST married to Emma Brows in 1884. four sons Ray Earl Gay Lindley and a daughter Dessie survive along with his wife. He had suffered as a patient for months, unable to be up much in the final week.
Misa Nellie Hanenkratt and Stephen Doak wed Wednesday evening at the bride’s parents home with Rev. H. Kubjevan officiating. The couple, after a family reception, depart for a coastal honeymoon before settling in Stanfield where Doak teaches at the school.
Mise H. McNamara of Portland travels with a party to occupy the Huston cottage. Dr. H. A. Antrewa and family stay at Oceanview. Mr. and Mrs. FE Mallory of Portland visit Bay Orvean for the weekend. Mrs. W. H. Green and family from Salt Lake City occupy the Potter cottage. Portland lumberman Mr. Clark and family stay at Rayocean Hotel. BP, i), Hance made a Portland trip. Miss Lottie Baker of Portland visits her brother.

A P S Walling, born August 4 in Eddyville Iowa, emigrated to Oregon in 1852 with parents. Lived in Portland, Eddyville, Skamokawa, and Tillamook County before marrying Edna M Eihany in 1882. Died August 4 at age 42, survived by wife and two daughters Grace and Ella. Funeral at United Brethren Church Beaver August 6 conducted by Rev Dora Young.
