Search Party Fails To Find Missing Man
An 81 year old man Judson Gilworth vanished Sept 10 from a Mt Carroll nursing home. A Sunday search with over 100 people including 50 youths from Palisades Park and county patrols found no trace. A report later said a man matching Gilworth was seen walking near a highway between Sterling and Dixon. County authorities received word that someone who knows Gilworth saw him in the Dixon area Saturday, a week after his disappearance.

Mrs. Dwight Turner Dies in Sterling Rites Tuesday
Mrs. Dwight Turner 54 of the Lanark area died Saturday evening at Community General hospital in Sterling after a long illness. Funeral services were held at 2:30 p m Tuesday at Mill Edgeville Church of the Brethren with Rev. Karl Baldner officiating. Burial was in Dutchtown cemetery. A memorial fund was established for the Milledgeville Church of the Brethren. She was born June 18, 1906 in Carroll County and married Dwight Turner June 5, 1982 in Milledgeville. Surviving: husband, a son Gerald of Milledgeville, a daughter Shirley Woodin of Sterling, and a sister Mary Schneider of Milledgeville.
