Schick of Dixon and two women narrowly escaped injury late Thursday night when his Studebaker sedan crashed into a rock wall and two trees on Chicago Avenue near the Roy Newell residence. He said another car came at him on the wrong side, forcing him to swerve and get wedged between the wall and a tree. wreckers had to extricate the car. The sedan, owned by Panl Ad lame, had operated on the Fieport to Savannah route.

Tax Sale Closes as Forfeitures Expected to Drop

Jury Finds Garcia Not Guilty After Evidence Heard

Retired Pastor Charles Delp Dies in Cherry Grove
The Rev. Charles Delp, 70, retired United Brethren minister of Mt. Carroll and Kent, died at his Cherry Grove Twp. home after 49 years in ministry. Born February 23, 1865 near Kent, he married Ada Barter in 1884 and Mollie Roger in 1929. survived by his wife, four daughters, a son and two sisters.
