Two One Car Accidents Reported in Carroll County
Sheriff Harry H. Miller reports two one car accidents this week. Jerry Whitehead, 21, of Freeport rolled over after being forced off Route 78 south of Mt. Carroll by an unidentified passing vehicle, damaging the car but injuring no one. Roosevelt Baker of Freeport was uninjured. A separate crash on Wackers road east of Savanna involved Donald E. Castello, 25, of Fulton losing control on loose gravel and swerving to avoid a fuel truck, causing the vehicle to strike a barrier.
