Obituary for Mrs Anna Kent of Thomson, 1842–1928
Mrs Anna Kent, born May 8 1842 in Yorkshire England, died November 5 1928 in Clinton Iowa at Mercy Hospital aged 86 years 5 months 26 days. She immigrated in 1852 with her parents to America, later married James L Kent in 1867. Survived by ten children twenty one grandchildren ten great grandchildren two sisters and one brother. Funeral held at Delia Melendy home Thomson with Rev Thomas Horton officiating. Burial at Dunshee Cemetery.

Mrs Allen Becker improving at Dixon hospital and homeward bound. Mr August Peters and Mr Herman Holm of Glinton visited Rudolph Form’s on Sunday.
