Two Big Father and Son Banquets This Week End
Thomson hosts a father and son banquet at six o'clock Friday in the Methodist church parlors with invited men and boys. Notable speakers include Rev Edwin Schaich on Our Boys and Hemmer on Our Communitys Responsibility to Our Boys, plus musical numbers by Ralph Atherton Len Carpenter and R L Fuller. Argo and Ideal join Saturday at 6 80 pm with Ladies Aid serving a large crowd. Harmon Stakemiller Cecil George and Henry Parsons headline Dad as a Pal with Miss VivIan Sack Velma Sack and J L Brearton providing music. Prizes will honor oldest father and son, youngest father and son, most sons, and dad who looks most like dad.
