October meeting of the Parent-Teachers Association heard report on grade school work
The October meeting at the high school opened with audience singing America led by James Frost. Visiting committee Kyle Melony and Mr. and Mrs. D. E. Hollinshead reported satisfaction with grade school efforts. A boys quartet sang, Prof Levitt from the Savanna schools spoke on education and praised local involvement. Treasurer's report showed 16.77 from the Fair. November visiting committee named. A teachers certificates exam set for November 17-18, 1922 in Mt Carroll.
