A petition seeking a vote on issuing bonds to fund road improvements and new equipment was filed with town clerk Clarence Bolhous. Township Supervisor Marvin Marshall led the filing. Glenn Williams Dies at 58 in Clinton Hospital
Glenn Raymond Williams 58 of Thomson died at 2:30 a.m. Saturday in Jane Lamb hospital Clinton after two days as a patient. Funeral services were held Tuesday at 2 p.m. at Savanna Funeral Home with Rev. Lowell Allen officiating. Burial in Lower York cemetery. He was born August 26 1901 in Iowa and married Vera Carroll October 13 1945. He lived on a farm near Thomson and worked at Clinton Corn Processing plant. Surviving are his widow nine stepchildren and 23 step grandchildren.
